美髮專業技術Glossary--常見英文字（詞）-字首Y

回美髮專業技術常用英文--匯整

　　隨時搜集匯整一些美髮『技術書』、『網頁』常見的英文用語，讓自己多接觸、常記錄、多使用、廣分享， 我確信不怕多、不怕難，只要有心、日積月累必可讓自己有更多的見聞，因為第一手資料的穫取是不容遲緩的。

 

　　以下是依據英文字首作分類，每個常見英文用語後面是對照的中譯用法，及英文單字相關的使用範例。內容若有錯誤，請不吝留言指教。

Y-axis：Y軸(定義) a code used among teens to define a girl's butt in reference to the 3 dimensions on a graph. Z axis is how much it sticks out. Y axis is how tall it is. X axis is how wide it is.

   Click on "strands" in the MCP and select the hair strands that you want to correct. Then comb them along negative Y-axis.

   Two parallel Cross Hair lines on the X and Y axis,distance between the lines .005" thirty concentric circles from the inside out,every 10th and then every 5th, crossing center line.

   I'd probably plot hair color on the x-axis and length on the y-axis; with the curly and non-curly data split into two data sets.

   I'd probably do a multiple-line graph, where the X axis is hair length, the Y axis is population, and there's a separate line for each hair color/curliness combination.

   You could do this in quasi-3D, with hair length on the X axis, color on the Z axis, population on the Y axis, and pairs of curly/non-curly for each.
   
   
6. 
   
   I'd use length on the X axis, and total occurance of that hair length on the Y axis.

 

Yellow：黃色 

1. 
   
   When hair is lightened it goes through several stages of lightening from the darkest to the lightest from a base of blue in the case of natural black to pale blonde with the palest of yellow as its base color.

   When hair is lightened it produces warm or red and yellow undertones.
   
   
3. 
   
   When red and yellow are mixed they produce orange. 
   
   
4. 
   
   The violet color base, since it is opposite yellow on the color chart, will tone down the yellow.

   Now my hair is bright yellow with some almost reddish tinges in parts.

   Perhaps for now just eliminate the yellow, get your hair in good condition then you can achieve your color goal with a professional.

   Once the yellow has been toned down leave your hair alone for awhile.  It will lighten even more with time.

   Getting a natural looking blonde hair style is tricky. Most people's hair has a lot of yellow-orange underlying pigment.

 
Youth：(男)青年,年輕,朝氣,青春,早期

   The rebellious “youth style年輕風格” comes more casual and more cool than ever.
   
   
2. 
   
   Youth cultures in Britain have historically been defined by male hair-length and style. 
   
   
3. 
   
   No true history of youth hairstyles, can omit this spirit of laughter that is the soul of all youth  culture.
   
   
4. 
   
   Youth hairstyles are also filled with the spirit of playfulness and mockery.
   
   
5. 
   
   This hairstyle was associated with "soul boys," an English working class youth culture of the late 1970s and early 1980s.
   
   
6. 
   
   Mohawks hairstyle became common in youth  punk subcultures in the early 1980s.
   
   
7. 
   
   Coloring and highlighting is very common among the teens and youth .

 

Yoghurt：酸奶;酸乳酪

1. 
   
   Adding a tablespoon of fresh citrus fruit to your yoghurt mixture will help to restore the normal pH balance of skin & hair.
   
   
2. 
   
   Yoghurt in your hair as a prewash conditioner.
   

 

Youthful：年青的

1. 
   
   The bob haircut is usually short and layered. The look is sexy and youthful.
   
   
2. 
   
   Shag hairstyles are flippy and youthful, but certainly not childish.
   
   
3. 
   
   Everybody strives to have healthy, youthful looking skin.
   
   
4. 
   
   The key to youthful-looking hair is rich, shiny hair colour and to this end, if you decide to colour your hair, it is best to select a natural-looking shade which is close to your original hair colour.
   
   
5. 
   
   Hair that is in good condition is the vital ingredient to youthful, beautiful hair, no matter what the cut or hairstyle.
   
   
6. 
   
   Sometimes a more youthful haircut or a younger hairstyle is all that we need to restore that youthful element back to our looks.
   
   
7. 
   
   Layered hairstyles restore a youthful appearance that is fun and flirty.
   
   
8. 
   
   Many older women still have the desire to look youthful and have fun with their hairstyles.
