Geometric ：幾何(學)的,幾何圖案的

The geometric haircut is a fun way to shape your hair to give you an edge and a new, retro style.
Draw a picture of the geometric shape that you are trying to achieve or find a picture online or in a magazine that is the style you want to emulate.
If you are going for a geometric style that goes from short to long in front, cut one side first, and then follow the same line on the other side.
Let hair dry and snip off any errant hairs that curl or hang out of the perfectly straight geometric lines.
Once you have your hair even all over, try a few of these tips to cut hair with a geometric shape.
Getting a haircut might not seem like a science, but there are actually geometrically-based guidelines for finding a hairstyle that is perfect for your face shape.
While in the past you may have based your hairstyle selections on the newest trend or your favorite celebrity’s latest hair do, the geometrical guidelines give you something else to go on.
If your hair is fine textured, playing with geometric lines will be clever to modernise your look.

The goal with geometric cuts is to follow the natural pattern of the hair's growth. In essence geometric cuts"are pure natural form".
Best known for the geometric cuts made famous by its founder, the salon still receives requests for Vidal's trademark five-point bob.
Be it the traditional bob hair style or one with geometric cuts, the bob still remains仍是 a favorite特別喜愛的.
In 1963, Vidal Sassoon introduced the geometric, asymmetric, 5-point hairstyle, which was an adapted version of the classic Bob hairstyle.
The geometric cut is pretty dramatic, and even though you can always go back and change it, you will make an entrance with this cut.

Geometry：幾何學

The precise geometry of the hairstyle is flirting with color effects that are nothing but electrifying.
Create a geometry attributes node and attach it to the Shave and a Haircut node.

Gel：膠；凝膠體-Gel is a thick, usually clear or transparent, styling product that comes in a tube or bottle and provides a strong hold. It is typically applied to wet hair.

If you have thick hair, you will need an extra-strength gel to hold them in place.
Glaze gel is ideal for sculptured hairstyles and perfect for sleeking down any frizzy ends on long bobs.
Thick-haired men can use a stronger gel to stand-up to your hair.
Hair gel is a type of gel that can be applied into the hair to congeal it into a hairstyle as required by the user.
Create a 1920s hairstyle by using a lot of gel and creating finger waves by sculpting the hair into place.
You would use some glaze or gel and dry the hair with the basic direction.
You would apply the gel or glaze to damp hair and blow dry.

Gland：腺(Definition)-- In general, glands secrete things and are classified as endocrine or exocrine. Endocrine glands secrete things into the bloodstream, like hormones. Exocrine glands secrete things that go outside of the body, like mucus and sweat.

The thicker density of hair, the more sebaceous glands are found.
The various glands such as the oil and sweat glands originate in the lower dermis.
Sebaceous glands are microscopic glands in the skin which secrete an oily matter (sebum) in the hair follicles to lubricate the skin and hair of animals.
Sebaceous glands are tiny organs which usually open into hair follicles on the surface of your skin. They produce an oily secretion, called sebum, which is your skin's natural lubricant.
The sebaceous glands are most concentrated on the scalp and face - particularly around the nose, cheeks, chin and forehead, which is why these are usually the most oily areas of your skin.
Sweat glands are all over your body. There are millions of them and their main function is to regulate your body temperature. When sweat evaporates on the skin's surface, the temperature of your skin drops.

Glaze：形成光滑的表層,變光滑,變光亮--Definition: nonammonia hair color that adds shine to the hair. Can also add tone to the hair or neutralize an unwanted tone.

Glaze gel is ideal for sculptured hairstyles and perfect for sleeking down any frizzy ends on long bobs.
A glaze is a demi-permanent hair color that does not lift or lighten.
You would use some glaze or gel and dry the hair with the basic direction.
You would apply the gel or glaze to damp hair and blow dry.

Gloss：光澤,色澤

Gloss has been liberally applied after blowing this hairstyle connecting the shine to the hair.
Finish with hair serum for moisture and gloss.
Creates a layered hairstyle with a clean, soft setting effect and natural gloss.
There are 9 hair colors to choose from or simply a clear gloss to add shine.
Smoothing serum and gloss is applied for the ending touch.

Gothic Hairstyles: ：哥德式的造型

Gothic hairstyles in the 80s were big and had more height as well. The Gothic’s were known to dye their hair black or use bizarre shades of red and purple.
One can see that Gothic hairstyles have a kind of romanticism and are striking at the same time.
Mysterious to some, Gothic hairstyles need a lot of crimping and curling to get the right effect.
There are two basics followed for Gothic hairstyles and generally hair is puffed up and piled on the head or it can incline towards the punk look.
Gothic hairstyles therefore suit women with petite features. Big hairdos were considered romantic when worn with corsets. For this, one needs to use a lot of backcombing methods to keep the hair in an upright fashion.
The beauty about Gothic hairstyles is such that they are wild and wacky and even gorgeous at times.
Gothic hairstyles especially in the 80s lay an emphasis on height.
The punk Gothic hairstyles were all about individuality. A riot of colors could be seen especially in the 1970s.
If you wish to try out Gothic hairstyles, then you would need to bear in mind that one would need to use crimping, curling and backcombing as the basic steps of such hairdos.

Gradation：逐漸的變化;階段性變化,(變化的)階段,程度,(顏色的)層次

"When a client uses a lot of technical terms -- like they say they want a released bob or gradation in their haircut -- I like to go over it with them in plain English,"
A characteristic trait is the convex basic shape with a light gradation in the neck, providing much volume to the hairstyle.
The "gradation" is a pattern for trimming up the hair in such a way that the hair length increases continuously from bottom to top with the hair on a side of its skirt or bottom being taken as the guide.
The "layer" is a pattern for trimming up the hair in such a way that the hair length increases continuously from top to bottom with the hair on a top side of the head being taken as the guide, conversely to the "gradation".
The nice thing was that the gradation between the bald areas and the top hairy portion was very gradual.
In men's haircuts, gradation (rather than graduation) is the word used to describe a men's cut that is very short on the sides and the back, and longer on top.
Gradation means that some scalp is visible through the cut, like in a men's fade.
A graduated cut is a cut that appears "stacked" in the back. The cut is very short at the nape, and gradually gets longer towards the crown.
Gradation: Very short around the ears and nape and gradually goes to longer hair on a man.
Graduated Form: Is also known as a wedge. It was big during the 80s.
Woman’s hairstyle includes variousstyles such as "one-length", "gradation" and "layer", and a way for defining the panel varies with the styles.
The mannequin head in this embodiment is used for training of a out technique for making "gradation bob".

Graduated Hair Cut：低層次剪法-Graduated Hair Cut, or graduation, refers to a hair cut with a graduated shape or wedge. This type of haircut results from cutting the hair with tension, low to medium elevation, or overdirection and the final result has a stacked area around the exterior.

.The third type of hairstyle is a forty-five degree haircut which is a graduated hair cut.
The graduated hair cut is a variant of the layered cut where the hair is cut into a specific angle or shape.
Normal hair textures can of course support the graduated hair cut in any number of designs.
A graduated hair cut is an effect or haircut that results from cutting the hair with tension, and low to medium elevation or over-direction.
Many graduated hair cut also have a stacked area around the exterior.
Graduated Hair Cut Very clever haircuts, which start off shorter in the nape and gradually get longer towards the occipital and crown areas.
A classic graduated bob haircut with blunt bangs was used as a platform for a palette of cooler tones to make up this creations.
Graduated Hair is cut at an angle to give fullness on top and bland the top hair into shorter lengths at the nape. Graduating means developing weight along a specific line taking into account the natural hair growth patterns and movement.

Graduation：低層次--頭髮剪後形成上長下短的效果-Definition: Also refered to as a short business man's cut or classic taper. The hair is left long enough to comb on top and gradullay tapers down around the ears and the neck. This is a very traditional men's cut that is appropriate for any lifestyle. Add a bit of cream or pomade to damp hair and brush back into place. May be worn a bit tousled for a more casual look.

How do you cut the hair into a graduation cut?
Position of head and neck is adjusted for desired degree of graduation.
Checking a finished haircut for planned graduation and rectifying where required may involve the application of problem solving skills.
Degrees of lift and distribution of hair to create graduation.
The relationship between angle of fingers, angle of scissors and amount of pressure when applying pressure graduation.
The Men's Haircut of the Day is The Graduation, a traditional cut that offers a lot of versatility.
For maximum graduation, hold the hair between your fingers and elevate the section.
For minimum graduation, hold the hair between your fingers and close to the headshape when you cut.
Graduation is a technique that allows the hair to move forwards and backwards.
The higher you lift the hair when you cut, the more acute your graduation will be.This will give you a soft outline shape. Remember,you can use graduation only on outline shapes.
Graduation is also a type of layered cut, since the cut isn't a blunt cut that forms a solid line.

Graduate：低層次,逐漸變化,發展

The graduated haircut is simply a layered haircut.
Graduation - This is a type of layering where the hair gets shorter until it reaches a certain point. This cut is commonly used on Bobs, where the hair at the front is longer and shorter at the back of the head. It is commonly known as graduated Bob.
Gradual Hair Color：Gradual Hair Color, also known as metallic hair color, contain metal salts that change natural hair color gradually by progressive buildup and exposure to air, creating a dull, metallic appearance. Many men's hair colors are metallic/gradual hair colors.
The great look comes from graduated layers around the mid-lengths and down to the ends.
This short haircut may be the foundation cut as you graduate into an even shorter cut.

Gray(grey) hair：灰色的(有白髮的)--缺乏色素的毛髮。especially hair that's coarse, prematurely gray, or close to your temples--is different from other hair. Gray hair resists dyes, and rejects coloring sooner.

Gray hair can take longer to absorb hair color. So, when coloring your hair, apply dye to the gray areas first. It can take up to 45 minutes for color to penetrate gray hairs; with careful timing, you can achieve even coloring throughout your hair.
Sometimes people are born with gray hair because they inherit the trait.
A few gray and white hairs will blend in sufficiently not to be noticeable, but as they become more widespread, there will come a point where a semi-permanent alone will not be enough.
One of the most common complaints about coloring gray hair is that the color does not take well or doesn’t last more than a few days.

Grecian knot：希臘式髮結--在冠部區或後頭部的髮結-A way of knotting up a woman's hair in imitation of the ancient Greek style.

The Grecian knot worn by women was made by combing the hair into a flattened knot low on the back of the head.
Her hair done up in a "Grecian knot".
Her hair falls in two broad bands over the brows, and is gathered up at the back of the head in a plain Grecian knot.
The Grecian knot was located on the wrong side of the head, being tied tightly over the forehead.

Greasy hair：油膩的的毛髮。

Where does greasy hair originate from?
Greasy hair can also be a linked to the development of skin problems including acne on the face and scalp.
Greasy hair is due to a build-up of the natural secretion from glands in the scalp.
The best shampoos for greasy hair are specially formulated to remove natural grease without damaging the hair shaft.

Growth：生長,成長;

Since hair is protein, a diet that is too low in protein may cause some thinning in hair or a retardation in the growth cycle.
Excessive過度的 stress壓力;緊張 and some medications藥物 are conclusively確定 known to retard妨礙 hair growth.
Hair vitamins for faster hair growth are the key.
It is easy to remember the lengths of the different phases of he growth cycle.

Guideline：引導線

Take your guideline from the top of the crown and create a fan-like pattern of sections.
If you ever lose your guideline, you can simply go back to the beginning of the stage you are working on.
After you have finished your guide continue parting "see thru" sections, then cut, using your guide as a guideline.
This will create a new guideline on the top that determines the length of the square layers throughout the interior of the haircut.
A guideline gives you a starting point for the haircut. It establishes the length of the cut and helps you keep the entire cut precise and accurate.
The guideline is usually the first section you cut when creating a shape.
Getting a haircut might not seem like a science, but there are actually geometrically-based guidelines for finding a hairstyle that is perfect for your face shape.
