　　隨時搜集匯整一些美髮『技術書』、『網頁』常見的英文用語，讓自己多接觸、常記錄、多使用、廣分享，我確信不怕多、不怕難，只要有心、日積月累必可讓自己有更多的見聞，因為第一手資料的穫取是不容遲緩的。

　以下是依據英文字首作分類，每個常見英文用語後面是對照的中譯用法，及英文單字相關的使用範例。內容若有錯誤，請不吝留言指教。

Keratin：角蛋白,角質,角素--為一種纖維蛋白，存在於動物的角、蹄、爪、羽毛、鱗等部位中，其不溶於稀酸、稀鹼，亦完全不被動物的消化酵素所作用。A fibrous protein found in hair, nails, and skin. The tough protein that is the major component of stratum corneum cells, hair, hoof, horn, and nails. A surface protective agent with film-forming and moisturizing action.

The beginning of a hair is made up of cells, which are bulging with keratin.
Hair is mostly due to the structure of keratin, a large family of proteins.
Hair structure depends on chemical bonds between keratin, which interact by way of hydrogen molecules and bonds such as these are easily broken by water, or even humidity.
Hair keratin is a type of keratin found in hair and nails.
Keratin is composed of twenty different amino acids and is the key ingredient of hair and nails.
The cuticle is made of tiny, overlapping scales of keratin.
The hair shaft is made up of dead, hard protein called keratin in three layers.
The dermal papilla is situated at the base of the hair follicle. The dermal papilla contains nerves and blood vessels which supply glucose for energy and amino acids to make keratin.
Hair keratins contain acidic and alkalinegroups which form saline bonds and thus,contribute to protein stabilization.

Keratinization：角質化；角化--The process by which the epidermis forms its outer protective layer, the stratum corneum; conversion into keratin or keratinous tissue.

Trichilemmal keratinization is a distinct type of keratinization in the hair follicle, not derived from the hair matrix.
At the level of the infundibulum, keratinization of the outer root sheath changes to normal epidermal keratinization with formation of the granular cell layer and outermost layer of the epidermis.
Trichilemmal keratinization converts the stratified epithelium of the outer root sheath into a nuclear keratin without an intervening keratohyalin layer.
What is the process of keratinization?----keratinization starts when protein in the form of food is digested and the body breaks it down into amino acids.These enter the blood stream and are carried to the papilla and the matrix at the base of the follicle where cells are formed that will eventually create hair.

Ketoconazole：抗黴菌劑A broad-spectrum anti-fungal agent that controls scale and itch. Once available only by prescription, it is now formulated in several strengths, including over-the-counter. Ketoconazole-containing products are recommended to be left on the scalp for 5-10 minutes before rinsing to maintain efficacy.
本品是一種廣效性抗黴菌劑，尤其對引起汗斑、脂漏性皮膚炎及頭皮屑的皮屑芽胞菌（Pityrosporum）更具強效。若洗髮精內含Ketoconazole，可有效治療頭皮部位的脂漏性皮膚炎及頭皮屑。

Khokhol：is a Russian term used to describe a style of man's haircut that features a lock of hair sprouting from the top or the front of an otherwise closely shaven head.

The term khokhol is used in the Russian and the was wore by man's haircut, a padlock of hair developing from the top or the front of an otherwise closely shaven head.
The word khokhol, is also frequently used by Russians and also a few Ukrainians as a derogatory name for Ukrainians and it was general hairstyle of Ukrainian Cossacks.
Khokhol is also called as longer clump of hair left on top or on the front side or otherwise cleanly shaven or shortly cut man’s haircut.
The khokhol hairstyle was common hairstyle of Ukrainian Cossacks and in olden times frequently enemies of Russian tsars.
The khokhol or oseledets is a typical aspect in the stereotype.

Knuckles：指(根)關節

Do not cut past the second knuckle when cutting underneath your fingers or the inside of your hand.
